Why this app exists
Running several coding agents in separate terminals gives you parallel sessions, but not a shared operating model. Runner adds reusable roles, crew composition, mission state, an inspectable coordination log, and human escalation while leaving each agent in its own real PTY.

Why we like it
The coordination layer stays unusually concrete and inspectable: Runner keeps its own state locally, does not require a Runner account, preserves the agents' native terminal interfaces, and makes multi-agent handoffs visible instead of hiding them behind a cloud workspace. The boundary is also clear: the agents themselves may still use their own online providers and accounts.
